The beloved actress Julie Strijdom died on Saturday afternoon at the age of 79. She would have celebrated her 80th birthday in July.
According to Julie’s sister, Linda Erwee, she died of kidney failure in a hospital in Pretoria. She was hospitalized three weeks ago.
“She was very fond of people and liked to talk. She could laugh so much,” remembers Linda.
Julie was best known for her role as Lady Di Roos in Knysna, the Movieas Olga in Woman looking for farmeras Nurse in Lien’s Longstand Shoes, Martha in Lipstick Dipstick and in as Breggie van Tonder Domestics
