RG can run out on Loftus again

Henry

RG Snyman played almost 50 Super Rugby games for the Bulls before packing his bags for Ireland to play for Munster.

Now the World Cup winning slot has been included in Munster’s tour group for an important United Rugby Championship match against the very Bulls at Loftus Versfeld.

In addition to the big Jakarandastad duel, the Irish visitors will also compete with the Lions in Johannesburg.

Snyman has been plagued by injuries in recent years and he has only been able to play 432 minutes for his Irish club in four years.

The 29-year-old player suffered a shoulder injury in the Springboks’ successful World Cup campaign in France, while a recent virus also kept him on the sidelines for a game or two.

Munster earlier confirmed that Snyman will soon be seen in the colors of Leinster.

The South African will therefore be persuaded to end his time with the club on a high note and he can undoubtedly make a difference alongside stars such as Peter O’Mahony and Tadhg Beirne at Loftus Versfeld and Ellispark.
